I must start out by saying this years TWWB was one of the toughest cycle rides I have had the pleasure to take part in.
This was mainly down to personal reasons and mother nature deciding to have a little fun with us.
As always with all TWWB’s the riders who take part are a strange bunch, well you would have to be to spend 8 days with a bunch of blokes in lycra.
All the kidding aside TWWB is a tough multi-day cycle event. Getting back in the saddle day after day especially when you are hit with a months worth of rain takes a certain something.
Training for this years TWWB started in back January 2014 to help all the riders prepare themselves for TWWB.
Riders also took time off work, time away from families and cover their own costs to do this event.
So I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for taking part and for becoming a big part of my life for the last few months.
I would also like to thank everyone involved with this years TWWB, without your help and support it would not happen.
From the support crew who made sure we where awake and kept us fed and warm to the people to donated money.
A big thank you to Will and Amy at The Nog Inn who help organise our departure and arrival parties.
Also to all the businesses that sponsored TWWB a big thank you.
I could go on all day thanking everyone, so if I have not mentioned you I apologize in advance.
So I am extremely pleased to announce that this years TWWB raised £5756.00
The money raised will go to Help for Heroes, Macmillan Cancer Support and Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
Once again a big thank you to everyone.
